Animation Mentor graduate Mike York talks about what inspired him to become an animator and the path that led him to achieve his dream.

Mike grew personally and professionally at Animation Mentor, developing a new way of observing life and making new friends along the way. His interest in animation was sparked by the movie Toy Story – he immediately wanted to know how to create animation. What inspires him as an artist are the people around him and he wants to bring those moments to life. Animation Mentor prepared Mike for the industry as he was able to network and meet people from the industry.
