Featured Alumni Jess Morris

Animation Mentor graduate Jess Morris says she was inspired to become an animator after watching Pixar movies. Jess realized there was a way to combine her love of animated movies with her love of drawing: character animation.

Jess attended an art school in San Diego, Calif., before enrolling in Animation Mentor. While attending Animation Mentor, she worked at a mocap video game studio. After graduation, Jess landed her first film job at Tippett Studios working on the film Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore. Since then, she joined Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) and has worked as an animator on Iron Man 2 and Rango.
