Animation Mentor Attends Vancouver Education and Career Fair

Animation Mentor participated in the Vancouver Education and Career Fair in Vancouver, British Colombia on February 3, 2009, held at the Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Center. The Education and Career Fairs are the largest career planning Events in British Columbia, Canada. With exhibits in a trade show format along with seminars, each Education & Career Fair is designed to help attendees develop or change their career path. Event Planner Molly Wolfsehr and Marketing Manager Monique Shih were at the Animation Mentor booth to answer questions from the visitors, who were mostly high school and college students, or career changers looking to go back to school. Molly said, “Monique and I had a fantastic time at the Vancouver B.C. Career Fair!  We met tons of new people interested in both art and animation and had fun explaining the ins and outs of 3D character animation to a new audience.”

Over 700 people visited the booth and it was a huge hit! Over 151 people entered a raffle we had for a medium, silver bamboo Wacom tablet, and we are happy to announce that Nikki Boyd was the winner. Congratulations Nikki!
