Working as an anatomy consultant to animators on films ranging from Beauty and the Beast to How to Train Your Dragon, Dr. Sumida points out the details of body mechanics with animators. Having an understanding of martial arts and anatomy can be applied to other situations, even including the way gorillas move in the wild. The gorilla observation, for example, was applied by animators on the film Tarzan.
